Individual Therapy

Welcome! It’s time for you to receive the support and care you deserve from someone who genuinely cares, listens, and understands you. I am a mental health expert committed to assisting individuals in taking control of their lives and navigating them in healthy ways. My work centers around the delicate balance of self in relation to others, addressing unhelpful beliefs and behaviors, and guiding individuals toward realizing their best selves.

I firmly believe in adopting a client-centered, collaborative approach to help clients achieve their goals. My specializations encompass a range of areas, including depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, life changes, relational difficulties, high-conflict divorce, and substance-related issues (whether clients are interested in harm reduction or relapse prevention). My goal is to help you heal, grow, and make meaningful change.

I believe people are the experts on their own lives and my role is to partner with my clients, providing them with my clinical expertise and knowledge to work together as a team in meeting their needs. Having worked with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, spiritualities, genders, and sexual orientations, I understand and appreciate the uniqueness of each individual.

My therapeutic approach is empathic and nonjudgmental. Your empowerment is my priority, guiding you to live a life aligned with your goals and values. With training in numerous evidence-based therapies, I adapt my methods to suit your specific needs and goals.

Jennifer Baity, LCSW, LAADC

Hello! I’m Jennifer

Trainer, Consultant, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor

I’m a licensed clinical social worker and licensed advanced alcohol and drug counselor who specializes in training people who work in the behavioral health field in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use.

My focus is on teaching compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment methods that I have learned about to others so that we can bring the best possible combination of treatments to our clients.

Clinical Training & Consultation

I provide training that is dynamic, engaging, and humorous and I intertwine didactic and theoretical material, video, live demonstration, and group exercises in order to help participants achieve maximum skill development and information retention.

I also provide pre- and post-licensure clinical supervision and consultation on mental health and substance-related topics for individuals, groups, or agencies by appointment.

Some of the organizations I have worked with include:

"As someone who organizes national continuing education conferences, I know that it’s rare to find someone who can not only provide effective treatments, but to teach other clinicians to provide them as well. Jennifer Baity uses her decades of clinical experience with harm reduction and substance abuse treatment to bring education to life, and grounds it all in a kind of pragmatism that leaves attendees feeling not only confident, but inspired."
